About how much do you think it would cost to get a bus ticket from alabama to California?

I want to go to Calirfornia by bus or by train cause I go on airplanes all the time.

it depends on where you are in Alabama and where you want to go in California. Check out http://www.greyhound.com , they give you quotes, and you could get discounts too :o)
I do agree train would be much more comfortable, but the simplest and easiest way to me would be to call your local bus/train stations and find out if they have a route that goes where you want to go and at the same time they can give you prices, lenght and all the little things that you may not be able to learn off the internet. It's still always best to talk to a "real person", even though humans can make mistakes too!
