When is the best time to go to Flordia and where is the best place to visit?

February or March, if you like baseball. That is when spring training takes place. The best place is a little town just north of Ft Lauderdale named "Lauderdale by the Sea". Great beaches; many Motels: and you can walk to a great variety of restaurants, stores,night clubs, etc. Don't even need a car because there are busses and shuttles to all places, Airport etc.

Summers a good time to visit though if your not use to the heat drink a lot of water. Orlano would be the best place to go. It has all the theam parks and good clubs.

I spent a lot of time in Florida and there are so many beautiful places to go. I would not go during their rain season, it's like a monsoon for 2-3 months. I love to go in the winter because I am from New England and it gets so cold up here. As a matter of fact we will have no days with temperatures higher than 32 degrees this week. Anyhow., during the winter hardly anyone else is there so prices are very reasonable. Treasure Island, which is near Tampa, has awesome cottages right on the beach which you can rent at a good price.
Obviously the summer, duh! Florida is a quirky, nice state to visit, and possibly even a nice place to live. I was in ritzy Boca Raton and even there, the people were so friendly! Miami is a great place to visit, especially South Beach. You can also drive along the intercoastal around West Palm Beach and look at the nice houses, boats and whatnot. There's Cape Canaveral, which I haven't been to, Orlando, which has very nice theme parks, so on and so forth. I think Orlando is great for families, Miami for the older crowd.
September or April, definitely Sea World in Orlando.
Pensacola, the water is BEAUTIFUL! Mid-April to the end of Oct., but watch out for the dog flies, from the middle to the end of Sept.. Not a lot of attractions, no big amusement parks. Great for just hanging out @ the beach. But, if you are intrested, there is a Navy base, men in uniforms in shorts.
