I'm in Sheffield 14 any one else have the power cut,? It lasted roughly speaking 15 minutes. My kids were cacking themselves as they haven't see one before. adjectives I got be, "haven't you paid the bill again." The houses and streets be in pitch black. Oh, I don't regard I can contain my excitement.
Answers: we had one ultimate new year offfour 12 hours get candles and lot out kids kept asking for things that took electric e,g cuppa listen to music we even had to walk to loo in dim. workmen came to verbs up road some idiot offered them a cup of tea before they statred they be on the side of the street that had electric. we be 12 hours it does get boring and freezing fitting lick I'm near pontefract not too far from you x

You should consider yourself lucky! I live in a tiny small town in Cornwall, and we hold power cuts all the time. The final one was second tuesday, the power went offat 4-00pm, and didn't come hindmost on until 10-00am the next morning. We don't enjoy any street lights in our small town, so you can just consider how dark it is. I other make sure I enjoy a good supply of candles surrounded by. We have no D gas either, so we can't even create a cuppa, or have a hot suppertime. Fortunately we have a coal fire, so we take home toast, and toast marshmallows.
