do you miserable Britain or England? To give you an concept, I recently did Einburgh to Kent down the A1 within about 8 hours as a solo driver. It took freshly under two hours to achieve to Berwick upon Tweed, so the rest took about 6 hours, which is pretty much adjectives of England. Left at 4.30pm on a Sunday, and arrived about partially past midnight. Sharing driving it could probably be done quicker.
You can't drive England, silly - it's an island - what you requirement is a car! John O'groats to Lands close is about 837m and would help yourself to you 15 hours not stop.
Do you want to just drive England or do you want to include Scotland and budge to the furthest point north in the British Isles?

That depends on how rapid you are travelling. If you mean you want to drive the integral length of the main island of the UK (the one that includes England, Wales and Scotland), next the accepted route is from Land's End contained by England (the southern-most point of the island), to a place called John O'Groats contained by Scotland (the northern-most tip of the island). The best route is 836.8 miles (1346.7 km) miles and would take you 17 hours 44 minutes (assuming no stops and surrounding substance traffic). Check out the route information here:

If, however, you mean ONLY England, you'd probably want to drive from Land's End to Berwick-on-Tweed, the northern-most town contained by England before the Scottish border. This is 552.1 miles (888.5km) and would embezzle you around 11 hours 20 minutes (again assuming no stops and medium traffic). Check out the route information for that here:

Of course, the longest legitimate route for the island is to drive all around the brink, along the coasts!
