Which hotel should we pick?
we (8 girlies are going to glasgow for a weekend shopping at xmas time (I know it is sometime yet, but want to find booked early!!) we similar to a nice hotel, and have be scouring the websites and hold narrowed the choice down to two.
The Hilton Grosvenor and the Marriot(Argylle street) mainly because we own a couple of smokers and as far as we know those two hotels have some smoking bedrooms, but would resembling some advice from relatives who are in the know just about these hotels or if they have any other suggestions. cheers contained by advance
Answers: the Hilton.check next to the hotel and website,at that time of year they do specials.2 nights for the price of one,my guidance is book asap,as with it person chrimbo they have f¨ēte nights and the rooms step quick xx
I live surrounded by Glasgow, haven't been to the two you've shortlisted though so I couldn't choose between them. Here's another few for you;
There's the Park Inn (formerly Langs) on Renfrew St.
The Millennium hotel which is really handy as it's surrounded by the centre of town at George Square.
Mark's Hotel (formerly Bewleys) on Bath Street is also handy for the shops.
Malmaison on West George Street (might be a bit pricey, not sure).
Jurys Inn on Jamaica Street.
City Apartments also on Bath Street are fab!
I reckon they all or at least possible most of them should have websites for more info.
I frequently use the Argyle Hotel at 969 Sauchiehall St. It is slightly on the wrong side of Charing Cross. Very verbs, friendly, inexpensive and the breakfasts are gargantuin. The location is good for most things, not far from King Tuts, SSEC, shopping etc Tel 0141 337 3313 Your choice depends seriously on how much time you envisage spending in your hotel, The Argyle will suit most requirements. An other prospect is The Piping Centre, it sounds like an unlikely choice but it is tremendously central and awfully reasonable. We held a complete matrimony there and the mansion is very, extraordinarily good. I stay surrounded by Glasgow alot and personally cogitate the nicest (and cleanest!) is actually the Novotel. Alot of the celebs stay here, it's near to the shops and King Tuts Club. The Ibis is a honourable value alternative next door but rooms are small. The Crowne Plaza is nice but can be expensive for what you return with. Novotel has a lovely banister too to chill with a cup of wine after a good sunshine shopping! I didn't really rate the Marriott or Ramada Jarvis, Hilton OK but quite expensive for standard. Malmaison is gorgeous if you looked-for to go adjectives. Enjoy your trip!
It doesn't matter which hotel you pick, you're irrelevant to smoke inside anywhere in Scotland. The Marriot is surrounded by the centre and is highly good, I've be their a few times for functions and have no complaints. Try the Crown Plaza, it have had a refurb completed ultimate year and the rooms are looking great..

these are existent reviews as we have posted some of ours on in attendance.
this is not a link purely website address.
Campanile, Menzies or Jury's inn is alright but room 306 there is really nice! I'd jump with Campanile though!
