Answers: You will need to be up to date on adjectives your regular vaccines, but you don't need anything special. Its merely the same as any other similar places risks/crime-wise.
London is a bit risky for pickpockets, especially if you stand out as a tourist, but this is true for adjectives big cities. Not dangerous, not risk-free so rob all sensible precautions approaching not travelling alone at night. There are 'rougher' areas, close to east London and the Welsh valleys, but I've be to both and never had trouble. Don't smile at strangers on the tube, I'm not even playing around here - I am a Londoner and its just unnatural. Criminals will know you are a tourist and you will scare adjectives normal individuals. Only rapists and psychos smile at strangers on the London tube.
