1960s onwards? holidays?

where did British associates go on Holiday surrounded by the 1960s? Many just stay contained by England ?

Answers:    The majority of the "working class" i.e. blue collar workers, went to the seaside contained by this country, either contained by boarding houses or holiday camps. Only the richer "white collar workers could afford to shift in the Hotels or dance abroad, as the box holidays that we now savour, were deeply dearer than staying in this country, at the moment it is in most cases cheaper to progress abroad. In the 60's we did come across to have proper summers and winters, not close to nowadays where on earth we can have a heatwave contained by winter and snow in summer.
