They are dangerous - chiefly to small children and animals. A wild cougar will put away small pets (and may attack small children). They have be known to attack adults but this is more dying out. Yes it can be dangerous. It is a immense wild graceful animal! Like a tiger - but smaller. But it could rip you apart if it wanted to!
