On the coast of Bulgaria I am not sure, but the Black Sea itself DOES have sharks

Black Sea spiny shark, piked dogfish Squalus acanthias, Russian term katran, like adjectives fish species listed above may represent threat single to fishermen when they handle the confine: two venomous spikes in front of dorsal fins individual raised as a response to disturbance. Dogfish prefer colder hose, and during the warm spell of year, it stays beneath summer thermocline - deeper than 20m.
Black Sea fish species lists accounting for adjectives species ever reported in the Sea include small-spotted catshark Scyliorhinus canicula, and even hammerhead shark Sphyrna zygaena; these inventory entries correspond to a few occasional intrusions in previous hundred years. These sharks are unable to settle within the Black Sea because of its low salinity and low water warmth in winter.
Watch out for the scorpionfish though!
