Answers: Take dramameen the one that says doesnt mete out drowzeness.Youll feel great. My daughter get the same approach she gets saloon sick when we go to the mts.not anymore after using that stuff its great.
You may not be cut out for superior altitudes.
About all you can do is kind sure you are in angelic physical condition...job, bicycle, etc to bring back your heart and lungs working better.
There are products a doctor can prescribe to help you breathe better, but they hold side effects.
You might try increasing water intake earlier you go, clutch an aspirin every 8 hours for a day earlier you go...and munch a couple of ginger snaps to see if that help...or drink ginger tea.....it's a stretch, but might work for you.
I lived at 10,000 feet, worked and played (skied) at 12,000+. I have a friend who could not come visit for like peas in a pod reason. Anything above 8,000 foot and she was dizzy and have a terrible headache. (now I'm close to you, nothing above 9,000 foot..bummer)
Me too, so go to your local drugstore. They own meds to take to prevent it and is in good health worth it and isn't all that expensive. Why suffer when back is available. I think one of them is Dramamine taken a partially hour before boarding a plane, for example. Ask your druggist/pharmacist. Drink lots and lots of dampen, avoid alcohol and take it glib the first few days!
Make sure you are properly fed and hydrated back you go, that may be cut of the problem.
You may also have a delirium or vertigo problem. stay calm and try to hold like some tablets to help out
Try this. Dont look above the horizon. look at the ground... Its not roughly speaking how high u are, but how dignified ur body thinks u are... its adjectives mental... trick urself. I come from the Rockies. Drink water and breath reflective, don't get too physical the first afternoon or so. Higher altitudes, the air is thinner, so low breathing helps.
Maybe the Air from the Mountains craft you fell nocious im guessing maybe also the smell of it..is within any smelling part of the mountain that you dislike/ perchance that makes u receive sick.......Idk im just guessing but i hope it help a bit.
=] You can go to the doctor ahead of time (a few days) and go and get an infusion of red blood cells. This will comfort to carry more oxygen and alleviate the symptoms. Note, this will NOT afford you license to ski all daytime and not get sick to your stomach! Some doctors won't do this, however, so you might try using a diuretic to remove excess fluid, thereby upping your blood pressure rather bit and making the symptoms less severe. Good luck, and be protected!
