Large Properties within Queensland?

I'd like to move to Brisbane after that this year and I'm looking to buy a large property surrounded by hopes of opening a bed and breakfast. I'm looking for a property beside quite a few acres. Being from America, I'm not sure where on earth all the colossal properties are located. Obviously I can't expect to find a country house right in the city, so hopefully someone can make clear to me where I should look. I'm predisposed to be a maximum of 100km out of Brisbane. So basically my query is which suburb would I most likely find closely of land?

Answers:    You could look at Brookfield, which is on the north west side of the city and is an "outer" suburb" Also up surrounded by the D'Aguilar ranges might be a good nouns.

In the other direction somewhere along the road to the Gold Coast might be good, or not too far stale it, maybe something similar to the Beaudesert area. The hill behind the Gold Coast are a possibility, and nearby is always the Maleny - Nambour region to the north.

Closer to Brisbane on the north, and probably a little more convenient to the airport is the Glasshouse Mountain nouns. That is no too far from the late Steve Irwin's zoo, so you might shut in some trade from it.

Take a good amount of time looking round first.
