what is the best family cruise, including a 7yr old?

For a family I would say either Carnival or Disney. Disney is great for kids and for the parents. They are probably my favorite cruise line, or very close to it. It is relaxing and enjoyable. The shows are amazing, there are lots of activities to do on board. The kids can go into the clubs and will have a blast, many times not wanting to leave at all. The food is wonderful and the staff is so helpful, they are amazing. Plus, the rooms are a little larger than other lines and it is very clean. The activities for a 7 year old are so much fun, they will have a great time.

Carnival is also great for families. There are alot of activities for kids. This is popular among families and college kids, so there is a lot of partying, gambling, smoking, drinking, etc. going on. Carnival is one of the lowest cost lines you can take. If you can afford the difference, I think Disney is much, much better. Carnival can be dirty and the staff isn't as helpful and I haven't been as impressed with the food. Also, I don't really like all the partying and stuff that is going on. But they are still a good cruise line, especially if you don't mind this.

It really depends on what you are looking for, where you prefer to go and what your budget is. Royal Caribbean is priced between Disney and Carnival and is also pretty good for kids, another line you may want to check out. But if I had to pick just one it would it would be Disney hands down. I've been on every cruise line and Disney ranks right at the top, it is the best!

Yeah, Disney would be the best choice. I've been on Disney, Carnival, and Royal Caribbean. They ALL have programs and activities for kids, but on Carnival and Royal Caribbean the activities tend to bother the adults, as they cut off portions of the ship solely for the kids and their activity. I would suggest Disney.

Royal Carribian in the Carribian is awsome and educational. Water is beatiful, people are nice and their ship are clean. Lots of activities on Adventure of the Seas - rock climbing wall, minature golf, roller skating, ice skating rink, a huge kids water area and great views. At night the shows are great too. Look online it's the best. Disney is fun too, but for the best of both worlds Royal Carribian.
Go to disney for a cruise for a seven year old!! I did once it was fun!!
