Can I transport 42" plasma TV to India via plane ? & How ? is it not dangerous ?

Call to India airline. do u knw that they hav be selling plasma tv's in india for final 2 yrs..anyway the risk of it getting there broken,and u mite hav to pay envelope duty on tht..and all the discomfort..in overnight case u cant get the gear the same time..trust me its better to buy it in india..and dont forget if anythng go wrong with the tv..r u gonna cart it bak to get it repaired..u r gonna return with warrenty is u buy tv thr..
You should be able to check it as you would checked luggage. The problem is that lots and boxes are loaded into the cargo hold of an aircraft and those items could be stacked up to 6 ft giant and no one is gonna carefulness that you are checking a tv. You know what I mean.?? So what are the probability that it will not be damaged within transit.

you can get a tv transported by nouns overseas. the best way to do so is to use a freight forwarding company. a few that service india are UPS, feed ex, phoenix international and Expeditors. i deliver to several of these and they are very reputable companies. insurance is also available. you also may contact Air India or Catamount Airlines. they both bar air contents. you may have to enjoy an outside trucking company to deliver to the forwarding company or the airline due to security restrictions. also their may be Customs documentation that will hold to be filled out. these companies can assist you next to this.
