If there was a high speed train network throughout America, would you use it?

I think it would depend on where it was located. Proximity to my residence and destination are paramount.
Geographically, I live in Northern Michigan, we tend to be quite far from everything. If it were to take me 6 hours to drive to get to a train, then how many hours on a train? I may as well fly.
