Anxious something like traveling via Eurotunnel for first time. Any informative tips?
Answers: I know somebody who is very claustrophobic who have no problem at all surrounded by the tunnel, so don't worry just about that aspect.
The actual time in the tunnel itself is just about 20 minutes. After 10 minutes you're already on your way out again.
thoughtful breathing and 20 minutes and you should be ok I've only be through the tunnel on the shuttle train (in my car) which i've done a few times. All I can say it's a pretty boring 30 mins minus radio or phone reception - the tunnel FM radio transmitters always give the impression of being to be out of order. Also sometimes the toilets are on the blink so be prepaired! :-)
Never had any worries around it and it's always be pretty simple and convienent (if expensive) and trouble free compaired to the ferry. It's probably safer than crossing the road, as they enunciate.

OK...time in tunnel 15-20 mins approx. during which time sort sure you walk around and hold on to as active as possible.Go to the buffet horse-drawn carriage...walk up the aisles,save busy and focussed ,if you are travelling with somebody hold chatting with them,play cards,do a crossword,read,listen to your IPOD ,hope this help.Once you've done it you will feel much better nearly the next trip l'm sure.
the simply thing I notice was my ears popped, so presently I suck a couple of sweets as we go through. An emergency nouns supply would be handy,,,
The experience is something of an anti-climax. It is just approaching a rail passage at night..... BORING!

Ive been on it loads of times, without doubt no problems, no different to being on a run of the mill train - gives you approx 30 minutes break to get through drink or have a early nap - soak up
