i am going with my own flesh and blood to geneva for holidaying tell me more or less car rental services their prices for 8 society and local eats and current prices grocery
Answers: In Geneva the cost of living is expensive, adjectives services in standard are rather expensive, rent of cars, restaurants...But do you hold to move in motor obligatorily? otherwise you could use the common transports. To your hotel you can get hold of a "Geneva Transport Card" that it allows you to move gratis in adjectives the zone.

You don't need a sports car to get around Geneva and environs - the local transport is exceptionally convenient and relatively inexpensive. If you want to travel further afield in Switzerland, trains are a vastly good (and reliable option). www.sbb.ch (Swiss guardrail network website).
For a own flesh and blood of eight you would need at lowest possible two cars which would get extraordinarily pricey (and cars are generally smaller here contained by Europe). One tip if you really want to rent is to rent a car on the french side of the Geneva airport.
Geneva (as is adjectives of Switzerland) is fairly expensive compared to North America (and masses places in Europe). However, you can well do self-catering with the various local grocery stores/bakeries (local chains include migros - www.migros.ch and co-op - www.coop.ch). One thing to save in mind is that, next to very few exceptions, adjectives stores are closed Sundays!
all the above answers are correct, it is expensive. you should breed it a point to travel to the french part of the pond; Thollon-les-Bains & Evian-les-Bains. i'm sure that you will visiting the pond and snapping pix of the fountain too. make it a point (if you rent a vehicle) to travel the lakeshore towards Lausanne too. at hand are many towns and villiages to see that method too.
if you want to go scuba diving, contact Michel (a) Swissub surrounded by Geneva or Lausanne (better facility) for a Discover Dive. Lausanne has the nightclub and a better nightlife than Geneva. Watch for concerts or hockey games in those areas.
also, this is the time of year when you will see the parapont (?) and handgliders pocket off from the mountain on the frech side.
