I be in Europe surrounded by the summer of 2006 and we had a morning trip up Mt. Pilatus. It was gorgeous. We took a boat across Lake Lucerne, after you take the cable saloon up the mountain. The views be gorgeous and we went on a moderately cloudy day. I'd visualize that on a perfect, sunny year, it would be absolutely stunning. You lift a gondola down and both ways of traveling are actually really fun. I loved it.
It'll be a while past I can afford to travel to Europe again, but if I go to Switzerland I will manifestly go backbone up to Pilatus. We had a ton of fun up at hand.
I went to Europe 10 yrs ago and did an excursion on and around Pilatus, superb area. Too bleak it's a tourist trap. I didn't travel across the pond to go to a city that panders to vacationers a bit than stay true to their roots.
I stopped there by mistake because I pretty much planned my trip as I go along and where my finger land is where I go.
I wanted to marinate myself in the local cultures but it be kinda hard when a third of everything be in English, another third contained by Japanese and the rest in original German. The store keepers didn't appear so happy any.
