Can I experience snow within Switzerland surrounded by the month of may?
Well I am planning to go to Switzerland during third week of may.
Will i know how to experience snow during that time of the year??
Answers: Not In the plains of the country (average altitude of 400 meters). But if you go to the greater regions (above approx. 2'500 meters) you should find heeps of it. I remember having done down mount skiing in July... Occasional snowfall surrounded by May only contained by the very illustrious regions of the country (above approx. 4'000 meters).
It's going to be difficult. Most of the mountains may have some snow but not adequate by the lifts for anything clothed. Plus global warm has really impacted European mountains. Yes, you can run up to a glacier.
You can go to the Titlis Mountain surrounded by Engelberg near Lucerne for examlpe (by cablecar from the village). There's snow the intact year.
