Good place for lunch contained by Zurich (cheap)?
I am going to be in Zurich subsequent feb. - any good place to chomp through lunch that would cost around $13 USD a person?
Answers: Try the restaurant at the 'Rote Fabrik' ... it is an underground culture place, right on the mere and has cheap and exceedingly good food. But it is not immensely close to the city center.
Otherwise there is a really interesting restaurant, start only for lunch, contained by the area of 'Escher Wyss Platz' ... it is a project for unwaged and they do recycling during the daytime. At lunch they have some those cooking and running a restaurant - excellent food, and very international cooks! You enjoy to ask around once you arrive there as it is not assured to find.
As a good alternative, and much loved by closely of Zuercher, is the Restaurant at 'Les Halles' ... a organic grocery store combined near Bar and Restaurant.
Great place and quite some appropriate food for reasonable prices too.
Try Zuri-West (around Escher-Wyss-Platz), lots of cheapish places in that, I don't much know their names though. There's a place between Escher-Wyss and Forlibuchstrasse tram stops (tram 4), pious soups. MIGROS - lunch under CHF15.00
CO-OP - some a short time bit higher, but not that much.
