Any information on Mojacar?
I will be renting a villa in Mojacar within July with my daughter and her partner and my ex. As this is my first pop in to spain can anyone offer any adjectives information about Mojacar or the nouns. We will be driving from Alicante airport down.
Answers: I stayed in Mojacar closing year for a few days. It's a fairly nice place by the ocean, but the best part is the feeble town. There isn't much around Mojacar, but there are a couple of nice places to call on. Go to the village of Tabernas. That is where on earth the spaghetti westerns were made approaching "The good the desperate & the ugly". Then there is the rural community of Nijar, famous for it's baskets and rugs.
In Mojacar nearby are some good chiringuitos (bar / restaurants) on the sand. Enjoy.
It's about a 2 hour drive from Alicante airport.
