American traveling to Spain -- what type of driver's license do I necessitate?
I am an American traveling to Spain and I haven't been surrounded by a few years...don't know whether there enjoy been change. Do I need any specific type of warrant or international driver's license now, or can I newly use my regular license?? 10pts if you can provide a good insinuation!! Thanks :)
Answers: It depends on how long you will be staying. If longer then 1 month you will stipulation an international drivers license which you can get for $15.00 at any AAA department. If shorted then a month you don't requirement any. THe international drivers license lasts 1 year.
By the bearing I just get back from Barcelona and I own family that lives nearby and they verified Ididn't need the license for short stay, but I get one anyway. Just go to AAA you don't entail to be a member. Adios ;)

I don`t give attention to there within an international one, because every country has different requirements to bring back a licenses. Chek next to triple AAA

International drivers licence works but it is usually expensive, if you are going to spend only a few days here within Spain you can drive with your USA dirvers licence (no issue the state of issue) as a tourist, I think you can do that and even if a "guardia civil" (trafic police) stops you they will take to mean you are a tourist, however in the covering of an accident you may go and get into trouble, so. the official website for "oficina de tráfico" (DMV) is www.dgt.es but undesirably they don't care around foreigners and don't have it translate it into english.
