A week within Spain to drop by the Peninsular Battlegrounds, where on earth is the best?

I'm going to Spain for a week, and would like to do a few things, but chiefly visit some battlefields/sites from the Peninsular War. Does anybody enjoy any good suggestions as to where on earth to go/see? I have to suggest practicality (probably train or taxi!)

Answers: You lucky person. start at Lisbon, (Torres Vedras.), Badajoz, Talavera, Madrid, Vittoria, Corunna. A Spaniard may know if ther is a practible route between them.

It started with the Battles of Vimeiro and Busaco surrounded by 1808. The allied armies, led by Wellington, crossed into Spain after the fleeing French contained by the early spring of 1814
try to drop by "la sagrada familia" in barcelona thats a gorgeous place ok What is the Peninsular War? I'm pretty well-versed in Spanish history. Never hear of anything referred to as that?
