*Please solely those who hold traveled W/ - People to People is it student ambassadors or really expensive trip?
**Please only answers from students or parents of those who hold traveled with People to People Student Ambassador Programs*** This summers session of travel is very soon over and I want stories and opinions. Was this program adjectives that it claims to be? Did the traveler do any "Ambassador" type stuff or was it adjectives touristy / really expensive vacation for one child type stuff. What did they do, did they enjoy any contact with the children of that country, stumble upon any current officials - various or just one retired and surrounded by jeans? Did the group do everything you were told they would do at the first informational seminar? Did your delegation hold any problems? Would you send the traveler again? Please post you stories and agree to me know if this really is student ambassadors or a vacation and why you perceive this way. Thank you for your time, enjoy a wonderful day.
Answers: I enjoy been on two trips, the first one surrounded by summer 2006 to england and france and this past summer to australia and spanking new zealand.
we did get to do stuff that regular tourists didnt, similar to meet member of parliament, and go see what school are like, and we have homestays, like when we stayed near a family, and much more.
we did everything they said we would, and even more. Both of my delegation were problem free. My trips, especailly my one to austrlaia, be the best experiences of my life. though I'm singular in dignified school, i quality that way. I reckon its both vacation and ambassadorial. Like, we be tourists and all, but we have to dress nicely (not even jeans) and sometimes within our polos. We were representing our country and associates had resembling, stopped and talked to us unfolding us how much they think we're such well-mannered representatives and how well behave we are and stuff. again, these were the best experiences of my life span, and im deffinetly going again!
by the way, my europe trip be like 5100 and my australia one be 5900 i think.
I own gone on one yet, but ultimate year I was invited and standard. I heard from a girl who when that it be amazing and worth all the sacrifice to earn the money to shift there near them.
They told us and showed us pictures of previous trips at the info. meeting and yes, some trips be able to congregate the Queen of England when they went to Buckingham Palace. On my trip, we be going to meet and confer with a current appendage of pariament. In most trips you stay with a ancestral who lives there for a few days. The trip that I'm going on (France, Italy, and Malta subsequent summer) has 2or3 days that we will be staying next to a Maltan family. If you hold any other questions, I'll try to serve you. Ok. I've been on 2 those to people trips so right rotten the bat that should tell you something. Tuition costs roughly speaking $5,500 and that includes everywhere you go, bus unbiased, hotel stays, meals, etc. Some of the things be tourist like and others you wouldn't win any where else. We saw alot of museums and go on alot of tours but we also got to play soccer beside a group of french kids and stay at a german home for 4 days. We did everything the orentation meeting said we would on both trips. On my first trip our group met near a member of the British parliment. The solitary problems we really had be picking up our trash off the bus and some behavoir issues within hotels and things. I went on 2 really amazing trips. The delegation always come rear saying "best trip ever" "best summer ever" "I hope I can dance next year"
