25 to check contained by to hotels?

When hotels say you must be 25 years older to check in, do they really enforce that? I am staying at the Boardwalk Beach Resort contained by Panama City, FL for Spring Break this year and no one surrounded by my group is 25 or older. Anyone know?

Answers:    They really just do that for Spring break. Other times of the year it shouldn't matter. I'm 23 and I've checked into hotels masses times. But I'm sure they enforce it during Spring Break times.
wow thats sucks... i thought it was 21
wow, i've never see that. i've been getting hotels since i be 18
I've never heard that previously. Its only 25 to rent a vehicle, Hotels I thought were one and only 18. I never had a problem when i be 18. Buit then again it could vary for Panama city on spring break... Good Luck
As long as you are 18 and have a valid credit card/payment you should know how to check in. I own never had a problem checking into a hotel during college. They may however require a payment deposit for your group if nobody is over 25. The deposit should be refundable at the end of the stay as long as you do not defile the room. I would e-mail/call the hotel to check on this policy.
Yes they are doing it more and more so the rooms dont get trashed!
