For a jeep within Cozumel, do I reserve presently (Payle$$ or another reputable agency) or in recent times acquire it once I'm nearby?

Go to the east side of the island, some call it the frantic side because of the waves and rip tides. Bring your camera. Some great bar to stop at Coconuts and Mezcalitos. Stop for a swim at Chen Rio (only place it's calm and safe)

Don't drive on the island. It's small. Taxis are cheap. Federales are scary. Trust me. I be just here a few weeks ago, and we rented the Jeeps right on the Cruise Dock from Budget and they gave us a price of $35 due to our expertise of the spanish language. If you can attain them for $40-$45 you're in correct shape. They'll offer you insurance but In my experience its not a necessity if you're paying next to a credit card, most cards offer sports car rental insurance as a courtesy.

Just find it when you get of the ship.. Remember you can negotiate your best price.. Be sure to wages with a credit card that offer renatl insurance. A jeep is the BEST way to see Cozumel.
