Answers: Dreams in Tulum is a wonderful resort for you and your family unit. They have a supervised children's program.All-inclusive.
The Riu Palace within Playa del Carmen is also all-inclusive and has a free kid's club. Very nice resort.
All the Iberostar Resorts are all-inclusive beside a free kids club.
Moon Palace is a great resort also. Some free excursions are included.
Dec 15-April 15 is high season. But check around, I'm sure you can find some perfect packages out there. Check near a travel agency too. Sometimes they have obedient prices and will honor the web prices.

The Rui chain. There are 4 located together contained by Playa Del Carmen. The Riu Yucatan caters to family's with children and have nightly stage shows aimed at children. Free beach toys, etc. Life guards on duty on the shore and hotel pools.
Next door is the Rui Palace, a truly 5 star hotel where you can ditch the kids for the darkness and have a upper class dinner near your mate.
Across the street is the Rui Tequila that caters to the 20 - 30 yr. old Disco crowd. Lots of dance and a huge party every dark.
The last Rui hotel contained by Playa del Carmen, I forget the name but it is mostly adults and is located on the in front of side of the Rui Palace from the Rui Yucatan.
If you buy the all inclusive roll, ( 11 days cost me $1100 pp for 4 people, 2 rooms, including airfare from the NW.) you can chomp through and drinks (both alcohol and soft drinks) are free at any of the 4hotels, and the rooms comes with a free public house stocked with soft drinks, beer, bottled hose, and 4 types of whiskey, so raid the kids room and remove the alcohol.
There is also a Rui hotel contained by down town Can Cun so if you are shopping or site seeing there, you can thieve the kids to eat free or rest surrounded by the swimming pool when they get tired.
