12days mexico itinerary.. anyone?
Answers: 4 great options:
1. Mexico City and surroundings: Having Mexico City as your dais, spend a few days in fabulous Mexico City and later go to great colonial town adjacent: Taxco, Cuernavaca, Puebla, Cholula. Mexico City is so big and have some abundant things to do, that you might as well may stipulation a whole month, so don't verbs about things to do contained by there (worry more or less what not to do!).
2. Mérida and Riviera Maya: You can start in gorgeous Mérida, with what I individually consider the best Mexican cuisine and going to Celestún and the nearby haciendas to savor a bit of weak Mexican aristocracy. Then go to Cancún and devour the Riviera Maya: Chichen-Itzá, Tulum, Xel-Há, Cozumel, Playa del Carmen, Cobá, Xcaret... etc. Twelve days also too fit, here may be things you won't finish to see.
3. Oaxaca-Chiapas: Two of the most magical places in Mexico. Amazing to discover how Mexican indígenas still interact near Occidental upbringing. Great towns, beaches, ancient ruins and unconscious landscapes!!
4. Guadalajara and surroundings: A bit more upbeat, starting near always amusing Puerto Vallarta, after going to the very Mexican Guadalajara. Then turn to Guanajuato and Morelia, two very charming and busy colonial towns.
5. Copper Canyon-Mazatlan: This is something that no even lots of Mexicans do. Start in Chihuahua and cart the train from there to Mazatlán and stop contained by every little town the train stops. One of the key attractives is the Copper Canyon, which is similar to 4 times bigger the Grand Canyon, and it is still inhabited by Tarahumaras. Finish in Mazatlán, one of the busiest beach of the country. One of my favorit trips ever!
Additional options: Baja / Cabos, and Monterrey / North East.
