Answers: This ask comes up from time to time and yes, there should be a website just about it, but there only just ISN'T. I have search and searched for the straight info on this. ... I live surrounded by Mexico and canfind no one who have the straight scoop on this. I presume what you are discussion about is giving the sports car to a Mexican citizen to NATIONALIZE it. The New regulation is that the car must be exacty 10 yrs infirm...in other words just 1998 cars may be nationalized this year. See article below. If you are taliking about freshly taking your car next to you to Mexico for a visit or to live in that...you do NOT need to nationalize it and you do NOT want to. You can receive a car warranty at the border which is good for as long as your visa is perfect. Rules about registering the saloon vary from state to state surrounded by Mexico, so...the person who is to recieve the coup¨¦ needs to ASK surrounded by his own commuity what the rules are there. There are also "vehicle brokers" in border towns who supposedly can sustain with this process. Mexico does NOT want to promote American cars being brought within...therefore does NOT release the info on how to do it...they hang on to this info difficult to find for a reason, trademark the process complicated, and change the rules frequently. If you own a 1998 car you want to supply or sell to a friend or relative, it is best if they can collect you in a border town, acquire a car brokers assist, and get transient registration there, next that person can drive it wager on to their city and register it there.
