Any International Roaming problems from Cabo San Lucas? I use Sprint. Does tourist psyche work?
I will be going in two weeks and necessitate to call pay for for business and personal reasons, but don't want everyone to know I'm within Cabo. Will my calls come through as me or as "unknown" or will it show up as an international ring up? Are there any problems getting call out of the area or delivery calls?
Answers: Sorry, don't know a article about Sprint phones contained by cabo. Why don't you call them? Second, at hand is a huge cellular tower in Cabo, phone reception is great. And give or take a few 80% of the population of phone users use cells, not territory lines.
I agree with Charlie. Only your provider can answer this put somebody through the mill. Rates do apply wherever you walk, but you must first set up an 'out of country access', only given to you by your provider. At smallest that's the way it works for Verizon. You must call upon and follow the prompts they give you, BEFORE you exit the country or it will not work too well. Best theory is to call customer service ans ask THEM...otherwise you are getting GUESSES!
It'll probably simply state that it's an international or out of area nickname. Ok I have sprint and hopefully you will enjoy a signal..If you have a newer phone you should enjoy no problem. Also to remind you that all call you make from mexico will influence "unknown" and the price that sprint charges me was 1.00 a minute (more contained by some areas) so you may want to limit it for a moment unless you have alot of money you would similar to to spend on your bill...when you call to the US remember to diall 00 first next your number..

I went to Cabo ultimate year and I called my dad. Normally my moniker comes up, however my phone number came up and it said "out of nouns." My friend has Sprint and he didn't own any service, but I use Cingular and I had full service.
