If I'm discussion something like Holidays and weather within former times, do I use preterite or frail?

If I'm talking roughly Holidays and weather in times gone by, do I use preterite or imperfect?

Also, what is the difference between the two? When do i use on or the other?

Answers:    I enjoy no idea, but try an online dictionary and/or thesaurus. Good luck!!
Preterite (or simple past) is used for a completed undertaking in yesteryear. You'd use it if you want to talk in the order of something that took place and ended contained by the past: 2 hours ago, finishing weekend/year, etc.

Imperfect (we call it "antepasado / antepreterito") is used to describe something that used to take place on a regular basis, or that happen in the intensely recent past but isn't finished or over but: then you could use it near expressions such as always, recurrently, never.

So it depends on what kind of holiday you want to describe. details of your unbelievably last trip?? You'd have need of to use preterite for most of the sentences: Yo fui a ___ (I went to___), el vuelo duró 6 horas (the flight last 6 hours), hice una excursion a las piramides (I made an excursion to the pyramids), tomé muchas fotografias (I made a lot of pics)...... adjectives of it started and ended contained by the past. The individual thing I can presume of where you could use mortal is: Hacía mucho calor (the weather was tremendously hot / it was unbelievably hot).

Let's say that as a kid you used to dance to Disneyland every time you were on vacation. then you'd probably use mortal: nosotros ibamos a Disneyland 2 veces al a~no (we used to go to Disneyland twice a year), nos hospedábamos en un hotel muy grande (we used to stay at a outstandingly big hotel), rentábamos un auto (we used to rent a car).....

Hope that's clear.
