I am traveling to mexico from san diego on moral friday?
i am from australia and i heard contained by mexico and the states that good friday is a big event due to the massive roman catholic populations. will it take extra long to cross the border? and also how long does it usually cart, does good friday drip on the 21 of march within the states? does everything close down for easter?
Answers: One of your problems will be the big crowds crossing from California. Good Friday is frequently a day when relations can get the afternoon bad at work, so it's almost like a 3 year weekend. Be prepared for big crowds.
In tourist destinations, people will hold to work on Easter. But if they aren't in a tourism related job, they'll probably get the weekend sour. It's an important holiday, and Mexicans own their own traditions to celebrate. The kids do a entry with eggs full of confetti and they run around trying to smash the eggs on their friends head. Also pinatas.
