Answers:    Well, the number one piece of direction I can give you is to enjoy fun, and you will for sure! Cancun is my favorite place in the world.
Do find out of the resort. Some people dance down there and never evacuate the resort. They missed out on a lot, close to seeing the surroundings, people, culture, etc. It's adjectives quite wonderful.

Use the bus for a cheap way to travel. It's like 70 cents a personage. Taking taxis to and from every place will win expensive. Plus, the drivers have be known to rip general public off by over charging. It happen to me too, even though I speak Spanish.

If you want to shop for souvenirs, go to Coral ***** Market contained by the "Hotel Zone" and bargain beside the vendors, OR for a more authentic experience, move about into the actual city of Cancun by taking the bus that says "MDO 28" on it, designation Market 28. The driver usually will call out the name of the drop-off points, so you will know when to get sour, or just enlighten him when you get on where on earth you want to go so you don't miss the stop.

Take a few excursions. Depending on what you're into, nearby is Xcaret, Xel-ha for snorkeling, Tulum and Chichen Itza and Coba for the pyramids, Joe's Jeep Adventures for swimming in the cenotes and driving through the jungle and visit a hands-on zoo and feeding iguanas (which is adjectives awesome), the jet-skis, parasailing (I took my camera in 2 Ziploc plenty for some wonderful photos), bullfights, personal speedboat jungle tours, deep marine fishing (they let you hold on to the fish and you take it to your resort and the chef will cook it/them for you), and so lots more things I can't even think of right very soon.

I know you will thoroughly enjoy Cancun. And don't study the weather forecasts because they're almost ALWAYS wrong for Cancun.
Drink only bottled sea, and even use bottled water to brush your teeth. That also manner no ice cubes! That is the best direction you can get.

Oh -- and no sex near strangers. You never know what you will catch down nearby!
Go to Playa del Carmen..it's a nice place. If you get a break also visit the Tulum ruins & Chichen Itza. USD and pesos are permitted everywhere. There is a whole bunch of things to see and do at hand! Check out http://www.cancun.com for some great info!!

Hi,
Well you'll enjoy the experience for sure. This is Old Mexico and the ethnic group are very gracious and accommodating. If you are staying on hotel row you will be isolated from all the other areas. I didn't aid for Hotel Row, however, my bride and I had a vehicle and we were competent to drive to any location in and around Cancun. Our second trip, last week be a week on Cozumel and we really enjoyed it. Back to Cancun, the city itself is amazingly depressed and there is a large amount of poverty, which you will not experience. You will have fun near the all-inclusive, this is all the food and drinks one could ever dream of. All the hotels enjoy an on-site restaurant or two that require reservations and they are a little more classy than the primary dinning area. So find out the reservation times and start here. My suggestion is travel to Playa del Carmen and then over to Cozumel for the morning. The bus ride from the Cancun Airport is $8.00 US one way, take about an hour, and you are a couple of blocks from the Ferry to Cozumel. The take is $32.00 US and they leave ever hour, the ride is nearly 30 minutes.
Whatever you do you'll really enjoy the beach the water temp ultimate week started out at 82 and went up to 84. If you are close to shore it could gross 88 or even 90. They all run the dollar, the exchange rate is a little over 10 pesos per 1 dollar. You will find cheeper shopping within Playa del Carmen. The main strip along Hotel Row is expensive. I consider you can grab a hackney carriage to the Airport and catch the bus to Playa del Carmen and fund to Cancun Airport and then a hackney carriage ride back to your Hotel. There are tours available to adjectives the sites around Cancun so enjoy.
Stay far away from the seaside, don't drink. Rent a car and see Mexico, the ruins, Merida, delight in the Yucatan style cuisine. learn the history of this delicate land and stay away from the shoreline resorts or anyplace where you see abundantly of tourists.
