For those who own be to Puerto Vallarta and Mazatlan singular?
We are thinking of going to Mexico again this winter, we have be to PV twice and really like it, but we reflect on it might be nice to try a different area. How would you compare Mazatlan beside PV, in language of town center, beach, hotels, excursions? Also is their a out of the ordinary all-inclusive resort you would recommend?
Answers: Mazatlán is more "Mexican" than Puerto Vallarta, more a working city than a tourist resort. In PVR, it seems *everything* along or hard by the beach is owned, manage, and patronized by English-speaking foreigners. You hold to make a special try to connect with the locals and see "real" existence. In MZT, the "tourist zone" is more compact and the local scene (people, markets, bar, side trips, industry) is more accessible. MZT offers oodles attractions similar to PVR -- except for maybe the jungle sunshade tours -- but on a smaller scale and a sometimes seasonal spring. MZT's malecón, the beachfront walkway, beat PVR's, Acapulco's, and most others' hands-down. Sunrise, sunset, and most all hours of daylight, it's a great place to stroll, jog, or purely sit and people-watch. My resort of choice in MZT is The Inn At Mazatlán. It's within the Zona Dorada (the tourist zone), right on the beach, and it offer an all-inclusive option.
Hello, I recommend you this sites:

Mazatlan is similar to a smaller puerto vallarta.
Acapulco is nice but on high season and vacation it is crazy, everything gets incredibly crowded and can be a bit shocking . Cancun is amazing , which is like 5 times prettier than Puerto Vallarta, you can tour the mayan pyramids and do some diving, but it's more expensive.
I don't approaching to stay at all-inclusive resorts, I prefer to try the local food. I have be to Vallarta and Mazatlan and I really prefer Vallarta. The malecon in Vallarta is an interesting place to spend the evening. The town center of Mazatlan is not touristy (which is flawless thing) and is out of the way although in that is a nice aquarium nearby and also a lighthouse you should pop in. There is a greater selection of hotels contained by Vallarta. The beaches surrounded by Mazatlan are wider than those in Vallarta. However, I feel it is great to experience different places and you may want to experience Mazatlan.
I have also be to Acapulco and don't consider it beautiful. It have really run down in the ending few years. Acapulco is beautiful. It have the same atmosphere as PV, so I deliberate you will enjoy it newly as much.
