Worried something like going to Mexico.?
I plan on going to Lazaro Cardenas, Michoacan. I just want to know if anyone know anything about this place. Is it sheltered? How are the locals? I also plan on taking the airplane into Mexico City, which I heard be dangerous. What is the best track to get from Mexico City to Lazaro Cardenas, Michoacan. Please enlighten me. Thanks!
Answers: From Michoacan to Mexico City there isn't that much of a distance. I lately recommend you take a bus. Be practical in Michoacan because specifically a drug cartel stronghold. Be extremely careful and most of the locals are greatly friendly. Mexico City is a very big city bigger than any American city so know where on earth you are going and only give somebody a lift marked cab cabs.
I'm from Mexico City, The bad reputation of my city sometimes is exaggerated.
Mexico City is the second largest city in the world, next to 20 million people, obviusly as any other big city have a big number of crimes but not more than other big cities in the world close to New York, Chicago, New Deli, Sau Paulo,or Berlin.
It is very not detrimental if you use the common sence and don't do anything that you probably don't doing within another big city like move about into dark lonely streets, counting your money contained by the midle of a sreet, etc. etc.

I dont know if ur reason is work..., but as a tourist is for a time dangerous immediately... if u take a bus u will stop several times to check ups, the army is alert basis Michoacan is one of the most active states selling drugs... and contained by some towns close to Lazaro Cardenas there are like mad of confrontations between government and traffic drugs... All that i can articulate is take watchfulness of ur self and be alert all around you... I guess not adjectives is bad... nearby are beautiful places, beach. just use ur adjectives sense... Good luck
The best way is to fly from Mexico City to Morelia and afterwards take a sports car the rest of the way. The Mexican army is contained by open warfare beside the drug cartels surrounded by Michoacan, both side are killing respectively other off. Of course folks get caught within the cross fire but not many. You should hold a great time... It is not nearly as bad as it sounds surrounded by the news. Mexico City is a big city and its airport its one of the busiest contained by the world, so one has to take care and apply tons of common sense, but I would not verbs too much about it.
Anyway right outside the airport surrounded by Mexico City there is a bus station. In in that you can buy tickets for Lazaro Cardenas and many other destinations. The bus is protected and clean. The tickets are bought right on the fanlight by airport.
People in Michoacan are highly nice and friendly. I have not be in Lazaro Cardenas, but I know abundant other places in Michoacan and I can relay you that is a fundamentally beautiful state full of surprises. I be there a couple of years ago watching the Monarch Butterflies.

I'm black and individuals say that just about our hoods all the time and that's why adjectives of us are so pissed because it's people approaching you are just geussing whether places are nontoxic, you may wonder about the terror campaign and all that okay i'm gonna answer that questions TOM if mexixans dont even close to mexico than what does that mean? I don't really know anything about Mexico, but I know that it is indeed terrifying (the son of a very substantial Greek minister was murdered within when he was robbed second year). I don't want to scare you, I decision you to have a wonderful trip, which I am sure you will. Just pay attention, don't try to play it hero if you are attacked, and try not to look like a "tourist" too much, don't get cameras hanging around you, don't dance to secluded places alone (stay surrounded by the crowd), etc.
