we are planning to go to rivera maya for our honeymoon surrounded by october. we are looking for some recommendations on where on earth to stay or stay away from. we are looking at all inclusives...gratefulness in credit for the info... would you recommend going somewhere else?
Answers: My wife and I have be there frequent times, we love it and would highly recommend it.
We hold stayed at many different places and didn't enjoy a bad time at any of them. In my judgment they are all correct but maybe we hold just be lucky.
Both of my favorites have changed name (and I think owners) since we stayed here so I have no theory if the level of service have also changed but my favs were Sunscape Tulum (now Dreams) and the Gala Resort (now the Sandos Gala Playacar Resort). Both have great staff and facilities. The Sunscape Tulum have the best guacamole ever plus they showed Monday Night Football on a big screen on the coast. Great for me - maybe not so great on your honeymoon. The resort be smaller then and did dearth a bit of nightlife but again that was ok for me.
The one I like the least be the Gran Bahia Principe Tulum, not because there be anything wrong with it - it be just too big for me. I did similar to the ecological program nearby though that was excellent. Even though I utter it was my most minuscule favorite it was still a great resort.
This is a great site for trip reports and reviews, I find it outstandingly helpful, basically remember that you can't please everyone and if a resort has 20 great reviews and 3 impossible ones it's a likely a great resort.

Good luck and glad honeymoon.
You should stay in Cancun, from within you can make plentiful trips, if you are interested in echo-turism, near are several activities you can do, or if you want to see the ruins of the mayan civilization you can turn to Tulum (very near to Cancun), Chichen Itza, or Cobá. The "cenotes" are another remedy to see... Xcaret have a cenot, where on earth you can swim, and it is not dangerous at adjectives. About hotels, do not worry, almost adjectives the hotels have flawless service. in the Maya Rivera check puerto aventuras. its a private place near golf camps, handsome ocean and white sand.. and its in close proximity from playa del Carmen and like an hour or smaller quantity in Cancun
congratulations for your engagement!
I would plainly recommend Rivera Maya to visit. I didnt stay on theat island but visit it and it was a striking place and friendly people. I recommend Cancun to stay at. Enjoy and cheerful travels.
