Anyone be to the Moon Palace surrounded by Cancun MX?
I'm going next month and would appreciate any input. Thanks!
Answers: I am SO EXciTeD for You! I am my mate's better partially and HAD to tell you in the order of the Moon Palace...He was here a few years ago with an ripened flame, and loved the trip but not the company. He was so excited to procure there near ME & our other six friends(they were surrounded by a first floor two room suite & we had our own room up on the third floor.) If you can stop by there beside a guide & preferably someone you love, you with Definitely wallow in the huge hot tub in your room, full stocked banister for nightcaps & the big hammock on your private deck. All of the patios facade the water so we tried to get up to see the colorful clouds & sunrise each morning.The most handsome sunrises I have ever see!! AND the rooms were merely as georgous with Marble covered floors, huge round pillars, CLEAN comfy bed & a giant shower area and that be roomy enough for two and lately as stunning. Five Star!
Go for at least a week to delight in the flavorful buffets-try the Italian for brunch...YUM! Walk on the beach after they clear the seaweed to work rotten the meals-less guilt about gorging respectively time! I also loved the pool!!LAZY tanning. I am a busy mom that loved my break from reality & really loved the swim up bar & my favorite drink- Bannana Monkey. Mix it up with a White Russian for a great hours of darkness.or day! WoW!! We enjoy been home a week & I am down in the mouth to not be there.. :(
I respect the thoughtfulness & smiles of ALL the wonderful staffpeople waiting to grant your every preference! We brought $100 in singles & $80 surrounded by 2dollar bills. When you can tip, DO. They work Hard for the money & Smile & always notify you "It is a pleasure!"
If you do not leave the resort, it will still be great. If you go the resort (WHY??!!*?) DO listen to the advice of the staff for your own comfort&sanctuary. We did take a shuttle to call on another Palace Resort closer to town on a rainy afternoon & ate for FREE at their buffets! NICE!!...The Palace Family make all their company feel so special!! Was it the black wrist band we wore?? Hmm..
We will be back subsequent January( and every year after that!!) with my 3 kids to permit them also enjoy the charm of Mexico...
*****.FYI:*** Wear high number sunscreen for a few days to start, consequently lower as you are there & turn tanning as much as you can prior to departure. That sun is wicked. Burns are not fun so USE THE SUNSCREEN. We saw poor stupid souls that didn't follow THAT counsel!
I am HOOKED on the fresh, made-to-order omletes, mine full of hot jalepenos.Go for the fresh & spicy interesting food...You will be hooked on that and the rest of your relaxing adventure away from home....

All posters above go and get a thumbs up from me as I have zilch to add. Stayed here in 2002 and have a great time! Love Moon Palace! Has an exellent choice of restaurants and there are several excursions included for free in the price.
As for the sand, may be hard to hold the seaweed away but I prefer a ppol anyway. Only go surrounded by the ocean to snorkel or scuba dive. Then you're far satisfactory out it doesn't really matter.
Moon Palace is a great resort. The pool is the best I enjoy been to surrounded by Mexico. The food, the staff,service and the rooms you will be very joyful with. Bring some $$ to tip the staff, trust me it go a long way within Mexico.
The only distrustful is the beach sea, seaweed. The staff are always working tricky to keep the shoreline area verbs. Once you swim out a bit, the water get better.
Don't get me wrong, you will still achieve a fantastic tan.
One entry about the Palace Resorts, you stay at one you can call round all the others. And do pop in them. I hope you got some free tours near your booking. Go to Xcaret) It's worth every dollar.

My wife and I got married at the Moon Palace and could not hold been more pleased. The resort is voluminous enough and offer enough group of food an entertainment that you never have to go. We were nearby 10 days and could have stayed another week. The other writer be right a dollar tip goes a long method.
The other great thing is the food. Being within Mexico are expectation were low, but it be great food, clean resort and excellent staff
