Acapulco opinion pleaseeee?
My friends and I want to plan a trip this coming June of 2008 with the Grand Mayan Palace timeshare a domestic member have. One of the locations is Acapulco but we are unsure of what it's like here now. We've be hearing some right but mostly tons of bad/negative things. Can anyone who has be there only just or knows what its close to now share their opinion. It would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Answers: Stay together as much as possible. Please its not crazy crime here purely be street wise. Dont convey a purse. put all belongings surrounded by your front pockets. Dont trust a sole ! Please just be street smart. Really drunk - dont stride to the hotel as a seemingly friendly person will " con" you and subsequent thing you know. Not trying to terrify just inform. That person said also stick to the Costera. Dont go to the Marina at darkness ( daytime fine ). One suggestion - please go to Pie de la Cuesta.
Oh yeah June July and August are the drizzling season here . You could pick a better time of year if you plan for alot of fun in the sun
Google it - its an incredible spot. Noone around huge loooooong coast big waves and a fresh dampen lagoon right ther. Its just as laid wager on as one can get. No crash pollution from busses taxis and pesky vendor. Pie de la Cuesta is magical
Definitely stay together if you go out. I would recommend that you find out if your timeshare have a private beach, because the beggars own gotten much worse. I plan to return to Acapulco in June, but I am going to an adjectives inclusive hotel that has a private shoreline.
I would find a nice hotel that has a club and turn there to gathering instead of one of the night clubs. that route all of you stay intensely safe. Have fun!! in good health. I am mexican and I do not really like Acapulco much, i would recomend you better Puerto Vallarta, Los Cabos and Cancun.. plainly better options. :)
However... Acapulco could be biddable, but a little bit terrifying and not too clean.
Well, contained by Acapulco you coud go to beach like Puerto Marquez, Revolcadero (next to the Princess hotel),etc. There are also apt restuarants like Suntory, Julio's and Pipo's. Hey it is other great there if you own a glass pipe and lots to put within it. Really you will have a great time no business where you are if the pipe is blazing. But when the blaze is gone the body is over. Think ahead. Don't get adjectives.
ITS A GOOD HOTEL,SAFE, BIG, AND NEGATIVE THING ABOU T WHAT, I GO THERE TO HAVE DRINKS, LUNCH, WHATEVER, NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS, ITS A FAMILY HOTEL, THE CONDOS ARE NICE, MAYBE THE NEGATIVE THINGS MAY NOT BE RELATED, OR YOUR FRIENDS, DID THINGS THAT GOT THEM IN TROUBLE, IF YOU WANT TROUBLE YOU WILL FIND IT, IF YOU SATY AWAY FROM TROUBLE YOUR SAFE, MANY GIRLS FROM MEXICO CITY, YOUNGER, 18 19 GO ON WEEKENDS WITHOUT ANY PARENTS SO WHAT ARE YOU AFRAID OF. I went to Acapulco lately and I have be all over Mexico and to make clear to you the truth, Acapulco was AMAZING! The club scene is great nearby.
Check out club ALEBRIJE and club Palladium, which is considered top 5 club in the world. You compensate around $30 to get within but then adjectives drinks are free all dark long till 6am.

But i do want to give you counsel, don't leave valuables surrounded by the room, and if you do make sure you put a "do not disturb" sign on the door so that you wont acquire jacked.
