This guy at my institution is the same color as me and im white but he is 100% Latino and have green eyes??

Answers: I've green eyes and my both sisters enjoy blue eyes and are blond the same as adjectives my cousins and relatives and most of my freinds and we all are 100% Mexican. The same as the USA, Mexico be colonized by Europe, mainly Spain and not for have European ancestry we are less Mexicans, as a event of fact, roughly 15% of Mexicans have pure European ancestry, you should come to Mexico and see it for yourself.
Mexico also have many french and german immigrant. My mother's parents came to mexico as refugee from the Spanish Civil War the same as masses of my friends' grand parents. My father's parents are german. Still I'm totally Mexican and I love my country.
The same examine I could ask about why tons americans are Black or White when your country was originally inhabitated by indians.
And im one of those bloody oddities, I am a latino, but I don't look close to it, I look super asian. Everyone at work assumes Im asian, even while abroad within Asian countries, I got confused for an asian, even contained by Mexico, someone thought I was an Asian tourist, I dont know, hahaha. Many "Latinos" hold Spanish ancestors (light skin, blue/green eyes).
Again, most Mexicans have at least possible a little Spanish blood (as some citizens seem to be confused roughly this sometimes: Spanish people are from Europe and are white). About 5-10% are mostly Spanish and are considered "white"- chew over of most of their presidents.
In response to some of the other posters: The reason Mexico have more Native American blood is not because Americans killed a larger % of its Indians. In both places the Indians lost over 90% of their population, first and foremost due to European diseases. But in Mexico, near its Aztec and Maya civilizations, there be far more natives to begin near. Whereas in the US, it be mainly tribal societies next to a lot not as much of people. Also the US have far more immigrants from Europe than Mexico did.
I come up with green eyes can occur surrounded by many race. Mexico too was built on immigration a moment ago as the USA was. With the difference that Spanish conquerors didn't exterminate the natives as the pilgrims did. (Sure, they kill many, but not nearly as much)
Many of those immigrant were from European descent (Germans, Italians, Spaniards) And MANY of those be light skinned near blue/ green eyes, and their offsprings were as very well.
LATINO is not a RACE or a NATIONALITY. It means, within the broad sense of the word, "spanish speaking". There can be White latinos, Black latinos, Asian Latinos, and so.
I'm Mexican, living in Mexico, and hold friends that are White, redheaded and full of freckles, and are as Mexican as can be. This is because his great-great grandparents were from Germany and come to Mexico to live.
