It's about a partly hour bus ride from Autobuses Norte bus station in Mexico City. It's Northeast of Mexico City.
It be a ancient city from about 100 to 600 AD. Now it is a tourist destination. Teotihuacán ruins are located to hand San Juan Teotihuacán town, which is about an hour northeast from Mexico City (an hour and a partially if by bus).
By car you necessitate take Insurgentes Norte Ave. north direction which at the city put a ceiling on transforms into the Pachuca highway. Almost immediately you will find signs that say-so "Pirámides" or Teotihuacán. Just follow them and you`ll have no problem getting here.
If you go by bus you enjoy to get to Terminal de Autobuses del Norte (north bus station), where on earth every 20 minutes or so you can get within a bus to San Juan Teotihuacán, from there a short hackney cab ride will do. There even are some direct buses to th ruins, but the service is not so frequent.
