Can a 1987 Westfalia Vanagon 5spd synchro verbs a 1500pd. tent trailer from Vancouver to Cabo San Lucas?

we want to know if the engine capacity have the ability to verbs the tent trailer and make it up and down the steep hill

Answers:    I have never see a Vanogan pull anything, and it probably have as much to do with the counterweight distribution of the vehicle and the tounge weight of the trailor as the power of the engine (which is not much). I focus they just weren't built to tow, but be self-contained. There may be a tow rating stamped on the inside drivers door next to the VIN, etc.

RV dealers normally keep list of vehicle ratings.

That's alot of stress over alot of time for a little engine.
Hola! I've made this trip heaps times. Its hard to say-so, because I do not know the tow capacity of a Westfalia, nor do I know the condition of your vehicle. I would devise a tent trailer would be pretty light but my concern would be near the california pass, not anywhere on the baja. Its a pretty smooth going trip from Ensenda to Cabo. I'd be more worried about overheating due to power-driven issues. Why don't you go up the Coquillhalla for a question paper run and see how it does?
