Buying bus fare at Cancun airport surrounded by pesos or usds?
After we arrive at Cancun airport we are taking a but to Playa del carmen, when we pay the bus fare do they prefer pesos of USDs? I want the process to run as quickly as possible and not return with ripped off at duplicate time! Thanks.
Answers: If you are purchasing a bus ticket at a transportation window you can use dollars. If you are purchasing on the bus use pesos. The dollar is widely agreed in Cancun.
$1.00 = 10.84 pesos. So roughly one dollar is 11 pesos. Or a dime equals 1 peso.
You won't capture ripped off if you maintain this in your mind.
FYI On adjectives the websites I checked the bus fare to Playa is 65 pesos or $7.00. I don't know if the fare has gone up near the raising gas prices.

You can pay for literally everything contained by Cancun in USD. However, you will achieve pesos from any ATM. And no matter how you reimburse, they will try to rip you off, so be aware of exchange rates and consistency free to negotiate. you dont' need to exchange to pesos. the ultimate 2 times we've gone we haven't had to. on the bus, they pocket the USD and give you rear legs change within pesos. no prob not getting ripped off. they do it at the exchange rate.
black cab to your hotel from the a/p in the cancun hotel nouns is 10USD, back to airport is 8USD.
if we have to pay anything at the hotel (meals, etc) we remunerated by credit card.
