Acapulco or Cancun? (for Winter Break)?
Pretending there is no hinder on money or time, which is better?
Please give me some recommendation or suggestions...

How sad and unimaginative.Why not receive off the "Gringo Trail" and steal the kids to see some of the "Real Mexico".
Acapulco. Cancun is more aimed towards young 20 somethings. acapulco...cancun is kool but i dont suggest it more...here are things that kids could do in cancun...
Cancun contained by the hotel zone is a piece of Paradise. The hotels are beautiful beside white sandy beaches, the hotel zone is shaped close to a seven, at the top of the seven the beaches are nice and the river calm, down the side of the seven the hose is rougher and there are some big rocks, but the sun shines on the shore all hours of daylight, where up top the hotels some times block the sun depending on how towering they are.
Cancun is very undamaging as long as you stay in the hotel zone and the family working there are remarkably , friendly. For kids there is alot to do as family on excursions, and some hotels have entertainment coordinators to return with people play games around the pool.
Now Cancun is a big delegation spot from the second week of February to the second week of April. I wouldn't avoid this area because of this but during this time empire are loud and drunk, still friendly and funny to watch but it does carry crowed.
Now in MIA River at the bottom of the seven at hand are hotels more focused on families and might be a better fit for you during the spring break, Moon palace is a right resort. and on the seven rui palace is a good resort.
As far as Acapulco, its more busy near everyday business, the beaches arnt as nice and because of the drug war sometimes it not the safest place to be. But that's what I heared from others, that have be there, Ive lone been to cancun.
To hold a great trip remeber to tip, you'll be suprised to see how much a dollar and a smile can get you within cancun. These people again are friendly and work complex for the 20 dollars a day wage, if you are rude to any of the staff at any place, you are going to enjoy trouble getting good service afterwards.
Use the protected in your hotel, never hand down cash, cameras, or passport out surrounded by the open. Bring some sented nouns fresheners(fer breeze) , because of the air conditioning anyone on 24/7 some of the rooms can smell damp or musty.
When disappearing, anything you dont need to bring home, resembling shampoos, tylonal, just exit in your room on the bed when you check out, the staff will defintaly know how to use anything left at the rear.

The Riviera maya area is a wonderful place to lift the family. I similar to Cancun but it's very touristy. Plenty of family vacation in attendance.
In Cancun, I like the Dreams Cancun Resort. They own dolphins you can swim with on property. The resort is contained by a great location (shopping, ferries, buses)

If you want to go somewhere within the US. I would pick Arizona and take the kids to the Grand Canyon. It will contribute you the goosebumps. Awesome.
Cancun, there is more to do, dont fly the Mexican airline though, travel like american or incorporated or something from the USA, and is way better rationale its on the gulf of mexico which is drop dead gorgeous and if you really required the best mexican place to visit, you would progress to Cozumel, it is the most beautiful place within Mexico
