Its hurricane season. June through November. Check this site for previous years weather history. I enter Sept 6 to Sept 14th for dates. But you will bring back an idea what to expect for Sept weather. Be prepared it's hurricane season. Take out hurricane travel insurance as a backup plan.

The weather can be quite nice at this time of year, but what the other posters enjoy said is true. It is hurricane season in Cancun from June - November. However, and here's the ironic section, some of the best water and nouns temps are experieinced during the month of September. What you can expect is to experience humid conditions, and rain showers endorsement during the night. If a hurricane does strike however, don't verbs, the locals down there are experts at dealing beside such events and do a fine job protecting the tourists.

Yes, it is hurricane season which means tropical storms &/or hurricanes can come about because the conditions are right. However...if you live in a place that get snow and your snow season is December thru February...is there other snow?
Cancun is prepared for what ever happens (especially since Wilma, October 2005).
I enunciate come on down and bring plenty of sunscreen you are going to need it!
