British citizen mexico border crossing into america, smooth ?

In January i will be flying to la paz mexico to meet up beside some british family that are also holidaying out here , after 3 weeks i will be going to LA with them crossing at the san diego border , i will hold a ticket to fly out of LA back to london 3 days after i enter the states , i own been to the states once past and it states this in my passport. How jammy will it be for me to cross there and what will i obligation to do it , obviously an I-94 form but is that adjectives and will they likely a moment ago stamp it and let me through ?
If anyone else have been within this situation and can help it would be greatly appreciated
