Cable TV/Broadband surrounded by Mexico?
I am from US. I currently recieve broadband and TV from a cable provider. Is this type of service available in Mexico. I am moving to Hermosillo, Sonora. Can I go and get American TV? ESPN, PLEASE!! I also would like large speed internet. What type of services are available?

At Hermosillo, as at any important mexican city (check the inventory in the Mexico fragment here in Yahoo!) at hand are several cable companies that also offer the broadband internet service.
At this completely moment I'm answering you from a dairy farm surrounded by central México, I enjoy broadband mobile thanks to Iusacell BAM, a celular company. I can see ESPN, CNN, HBO, FOX and adjectives the same channel you have within USA with satelital box, there is Sky company, but you could own the same system that within the USA (DISH or something like that).
High speed internet is uncomplicated to have, so does USA TV channel. Not big deal, México is not as poor as the medium or the moviest tells.
Here, at the plough, we don't have neither regular phone nor cable TV; but wireless technolgy is great.
UPS! P.S. Telmex is NOT the solely phone company, there are others (axtel and more). Telmex is no more a affairs of state company, it was sold to Carlos Slim Helú, the richest mexican and one of the richest man within the world.
Satellite... and DSL through the pnone company, Telnor. We get adjectives US TV, HBO, and Spanish language channel yes the company SKY has adjectives channels and can be changed from english to spanish it have the american channel, nikolodean and tons many more! mtv..vh1.
internet comes from telmex the phone proveder here, its the with the sole purpose company for phones and is run by the government
YES THEY HAVE CABLE TV, AND SKY TV, YOU GET SONY, WARNER, AXN CNN, MANY STATIONS JUST GET THE UNIVERSAL PACKAGE, I KNOW CAUSE I LIVED IN MEXICO.
