If not, then I agree next to the above poster -- easiest is to get appropriate map from a store. They're not expensive and will give you best information, plus if you DO go and get lost, you'll find the maps aid you find your way.
You could also consider renting a portable GPS system (or buying if you do profoundly of travelling); they're not expensive and really great.
Why don't you just step into a book store and buy the map for Mexico. It's about $2.5 and give all the principal AND side roads. You are going to NEED a map... you aren't going to get the route from Answers because the roads contained by Mexico aren't that well discoloured and if all you own is what someone tells you, you can smoothly drive right past a turn bad.
If you can't read a map and you need someone to communicate you how to drive a certain route.. later you had better STAY HOME where on earth it's SAFE.
