What is the percentage of Mexico's urban and rural areas (city/farm)?

Please include a citation or link. Thank you highly much!

Answers:    Most of the country is rural. Mexico City occupies smaller number than 2% of the entire country and contains 20% of the population. The country is probably over 80% rural. There's less than 1000 municipios that enjoy a population of 100,000 or more just to grant you an idea. The take in for questioning is that the few that do are heavily populated.

Visit the website of the INEGI if you can read spanish for this sort of data.
