Bus ride to chichen itza?

How long is the bus ride to chichen itza from Cancun. How expensive is it. I am thinking about going at hand and coming back one and the same day. I am debating whether or not to be precise a good perception or if it is better to stay in the colonial city for a hours of daylight before I director back to Cancun.

Answers:    i do recommend the bus ride. it's a fitting hour or so. i do recommend you eat something previously you go motivation you can get pretty tired next to all the walking you will do. near is really no need to stay out nearby over night, at hand are plenty of tours that will have you rear legs to can cun the same hours of daylight
I believe it was around 2 hrs and worth the trip, when will you ever have the casual again? The bus ride non-stop would be about 2 to 2.5 hours. There's lots of sunshine tours from Cancun. Many tours split up the ride there near another stop which will allow you to see more than just Chichen Itza. And most tours include lunch since it's a long morning.

If you have a box vacation at a hotel within Cancun and have already remunerated for the week I'd just look for one of the frequent day tours to Chichen Itza.

If you are already planning to tour around a bit afterwards you might consider a night surrounded by either the Colonial City of Valladolid (Still something like an hour from Chichen Itza) or staying nearer the ruins at Chichen Itza since I believe they have a lighting and sound show at darkness. (Though I could be wrong about that). Again if your plan is to tour around consider these sites as okay: Ruins of Ek Balam north of Valladolid, Dzitnup Cenote, near Valladolid, the Balankanche Cave and the eco-archeological Park Ik Kil (with the Ik Kil Cenote) both of the later two are very close to Chichen Itza.

Not sure if sports car rental is an option you're considering but the toll road between Cancun and Chichen Itza is great, though thoroughly pricey. Between Cancun and Chichen Itza the toll is about $19 USD respectively way, donate another $11 USD if you plan to continue onto Merida and sites resembling Uxmal. Just so you know to factor that into your calculations. Car rental BTW can be the cheapest method to see the ruins if you can split the cost with a full motor but packaged tour is possible easier/more convenient.

Enjoy your trip.
mannn it was resembling 3 hours.i thought it was borin bc adjectives he did was cooperate! i felt close to i was contained by skool but u do learn alot bring a video activity or mp3 player lmao...good luck...ive be their be4 It Is Like 2 Hours Take The Bus And Ask The People At Your Hotel They Will Tell You How Much It Is But It Is Worth It Go Early Me And My Hubby Went Really Early We Where Their Like By 9:00Am And Did Not See Every Thing HAVE FUN!
Hi,
Don't miss your chance to look in the Mayan Ruins at Chichen Itza. The bus ride should not take more than 2-1/2 hours from the downtown bus station within Cancun. Located at the intersection of avenidas Tulum and Uxmal. There are two bus lines ADO and Linea UNO both are first-class coach service. The cost for a round trip ticket should be no more than $32.00-US.
If you can spent the night the place to stay is Mayaland Resort. It is located right at the Chichen Itza Ruins and the resort have its own entrance and if you stay at the resort admission is free, a plus is the dark show that explains a lot almost the ruins. So you will have two days and one dark you'll really enjoy the stay. You can't really savour the Mayan Site in in the future.
NOTE: All Mexican Banks charge a 5% fee for the use of plastic. Bring Travelers Checks and or currency and you'll save a bit money.
Hope this helps.
I want I knew and I yearning I were within.
