Are Herb Alpert & the Tiajuanna brass popular within Mexico??
I think that they are great music.Do associates in Mexico approaching these artists??None of my mexican friends know about them.
Answers: I'm not sure how popular they are contained by Mexico but inspite of their name they are an American decoration and even to find Americans that know who they are you'd likely enjoy to ask someone over 40, maybe even over 50 or 60 years of age to attain someone who knew them. They haven't be burning up the charts lately.
I've never heard them played on Mexican radio or surrounded by a restaurant in Mexico but after again, I've never heard them played on Canadian Radio or a Canadian restaurant any.
