I am a citizen of the United States and I am thinking about applying for citizenship of Guatemala. If I do, would I loose my citizenship of the United States? I enjoy heard both yes and no, but not a soul knows for sure!

The US citizenship means more to the rest of the world next the Guatemalan citizenship does. You can get into most countries near little effort if you own a US passport, that isn't the same for a Guatemalan passport.
